Jean-Pierre Cormier is Senior Vice President and Chief Pricing Actuary for 69É«ÇéƬ Life Reinsurance Company of Canada (69É«ÇéƬ Canada). In this role, he leads the pricing and research functions at 69É«ÇéƬ Canada and collaborates across the organization to bring innovative and effective reinsurance solutions to 69É«ÇéƬ’s clients.
Jean-Pierre has nearly 30 years of experience in the life insurance industry in various pricing and corporate actuarial roles, including 13 years with direct carriers.
Jean-Pierre received his Bachelor of Actuarial Science (B.Sc.) from Laval University and is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA). Jean-Pierre continues to be involved in many industry committees, including those at the CIA.
