Motoki Takahashi is the Head of Strategy for 69É«ÇéƬ Japan, where he leads strategy, marketing communications, and market research for 69É«ÇéƬ’s Japan operations. Motoki joined 69É«ÇéƬ in March 2023 as Executive Director, Market Development, Regional Marketing, Asian Markets, with an initial focus on North Asian Markets.

Motoki has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry in Japan and Asia. Before joining 69É«ÇéƬ, Motoki served for nearly a decade in senior executive roles with Swiss Re. During his time with that global reinsurer, Motoki accelerated the data-driven propositions in product development and underwriting. He also managed valuable client relationships, led marketing opportunities, and drove successful business strategies for Japan and the emerging markets of Asia.

Before his time with Swiss Re, Motoki served in marketing, business development, and corporate strategy roles with AXA and ING.

Motoki earned his bachelor’s degree in policy studies and marketing from Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan. He obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Manchester.
