ReCap’s team of local experts leverage long-standing relationships with brokers, developers, and borrowers to access investment opportunities and information.

ReCap’s servicing group projects, collects, reconciles, and processes periodic mortgage payments and escrows, manages initial contacts with borrowers, ensures timely payment of property taxes and insurance, and manages timely, accurate reconciliation, distribution, and reporting of cash receipts.

The ReCap team works directly with the borrower, brokers, counsel, and the title company to coordinate the closing, due diligence, and third-party appraisal, as well as environmental, property condition, and other reports. We bring decades of experience in proactive surveillance and problem resolution. Services span ongoing surveillance and portfolio management, including the borrower, collateral, and tenant analysis performed yearly, financial report submission, Portfolio Risk Analysis (PRA), and delinquency resolution and recovery. 


ReCap’s portfolio management group is responsible for monthly market valuations, portfolio surveillance, special servicing activities such as loan restructuring or foreclosures, and processing borrower requests, including escrow disbursements.
